These new lamps, designed by Slovakian designer Boris Klimek, are made of amorphous glass plates. When combined with the metal holder and inserted light source, the result is a collection of lights that look like lollipops.
Designed for lighting manufacturer LASVIT, the lights are a playful reminder of what it’s like to look through a glass bottle into the sun, or when you hold a lollipop up to the light.
Using a technique of slumped glass and exploring ideas of glass coloring, glint and internal structure, the designer created the Lollipop collection that consists of table and stand-alone lamps, as well as pendant lights.
