Sean and Cynthia O’Hara of American design firm O’Hara Studio, have shared with us one of their latest designs, the Spruce Tables.
Inspired by conifer cones (or pine cones) from an alpine forest, the tables feature wood scales arranged in overlapping layers. Once assembled, they’re then sculpted and finished by hand.
The collection has a few different heights, and the tables can be made from spruce in a White Wash, Grey Sienna or Espresso finish.
Here’s a look at the coffee table version, which is slightly shorter and wider than the occasional tables, and can become a base for a table if topped with glass.
