Bike riders often have to deal with a variety of weather conditions when cycling, designers Shane Liu and Vicky Lin, worked with the team at VANMOOF, a bike company, to come up with an idea to help solve the problem riders have when it rains.
Let’s explain…imagine it has started to rain.
But you can’t ride your bike and hold an umbrella at the same time.
Meet BONCHO, a poncho designed for bike riders, that comes nicely folded up in a bag.
It simply folds out and extends over the handlebars.
And then goes over your body, just like a poncho with hood.
It’s also large enough to cover your legs.
Of course, it’s also water resistant.
Once it stops raining, you simply take it off, and fold it up.
And put it back in its case, which is small enough to fit inside a backpack.
You can find out more about BONCHO from their Kickstarter page, here, or you can watch the video below to see it in action.
