After winning an international design competition, Izaskun Chinchilla Architects have created the “City Of Dreams” pavilion on Governors Island in New York.

A few months ago we won an international competition to build the ‘City of Dreams' Pavilion on Governors Island, NY.
Because it is going to be built by NGO, we raised funding via the Kick Starter internet platform for the pavilion to be built.
We are very happy and proud to have achieved our goal, the pavilion organic growth is a reality, thanks to the incredible support of the donors and many volunteers, young architects, artists, engineers and students who came every day to the island to help in the difficult and amazing task of building the pavilion. Proving that a different and participatory architecture is possible.
