Huski Apartments

So you probably think that ski season is over, right? Well, you’d be wrong, it’s actually just getting started…..down in Australia! That’s right, the southern hemisphere is heading into winter, so it’s time to make like a kangaroo and hop down to the land down under and enjoy some of the white stuff. And, since time in Australia is about one day ahead of everywhere else, they already knew you were coming, so they prepared for your arrival by building the Huski Apartments & Day Spa at the Falls Creek ski resort.

The design of this apartment hotel is the work of Elenberg Fraser, and besides the hotel rooms, the building also includes the Endota Day Spa, and a produce store on the ground floor in case you forgot to bring the Vegemite.

Black Framed Glass Doors Are A Prominent Feature Of This Apartment’s Interior Design

Black Framed Glass Doors Are A Prominent Feature Of This Apartment’s Interior Design

In an Amsterdam apartment completed by DENOLDERVLEUGELS, black framed glass walls have replaced solid walls. Also included in the design of the walls are sliding and pivoting doors.

The glass walls divide the kitchen from the hallway and the living room, however, they still let natural light from the windows pass through the interior.

A pivoting black-framed glass door matches the walls that surround it.

Providing access to the kitchen is a pivoting glass door that’s been designed so that the black frame matches the lines on the glass walls, creating a seamless look when closed. This is also true for the sliding glass doors that connect to the living room.

Two Apartments Were Combined To Create This Minimalist Space That Maintains Some Of The Historic Wood Structure

NAME Architecture has designed the ‘White Apartment’ as a result of transforming a single family sized flat along with a studio in Paris, France.

The combined apartment has been designed for family-friendly living, with an open communal space that includes a living room, dining room, and kitchen, which cater to a variety of different activities and create a space for entertaining guests.

The designers also chose to keep some of the original wood structure and integrated it into the new layout.

Throughout the apartment, like in the kitchen, the finishes have been kept minimal, creating a neutral yet stylish backdrop to family life.
