Using only four ingredients, you can make Catherine’s Plate strawberry cheesecake dump cake. I hadn’t realized how simple this recipe would be, but I’m excited to make this for my mom since she loves cheesecake. Catherine’s Plate said you can choose whatever kind of filling you prefer to add to the dump cake if you do not like strawberry. The fruit filling adds another layer of sweetness, so this recipe is perfect for all the sweet tooths out there.
- 9×10 baking dish
- cooking spray
- 2 cans (21-ounce) strawberry pie filling
- 8 ounce Philadelphia original whipped cream cheese
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
First, preheat the oven at 350 degrees and spray down the baking dish with cooking spray.
Then, pour the 2 cans of strawberry filling and spread it out evenly.
Second, scoop out little bits of the cream cheese with a spoon and put it all over the pie filling.
Next, grab a bowl, stir and combine the cake mix and melted butter until it turns into a nice crumble.
Lastly, pour cake crumbles on top, and let the cake bake for about 30 minutes.
Once the cake is finished and golden, grab some vanilla ice cream to pair off with the strawberry cheesecake dump cake.
The ice cream would complement the cake and melt right in your mouth. Enjoy!
