Who would’ve thought that Apple Pie Moonshine could be this simple? I came across a recipe by Tipsy Bartender on Youtube, and there are no complicated steps to make this flavored moonshine. If you ever had moonshine, you know how potent it can be. I remember the first time when I went to Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery in Gatlinburg, I was feeling it after the third shot. It’s crazy how high proof this alcohol beverage has, but a little goes a long way. You can make several batches of Apple Pie Moonshine and store them away yourself! Be patient before you take the first sip of your moonshine and let it sit out to mellow.
- 12-ounce apple cider vinegar
- 12-ounce apple juice
- 4 tbsp white sugar
- 6-8 cinnamon sticks
- dash of grated nutmeg
- 750ml bottle of Everclear
First, boil the apple cider vinegar, apple juice, sugar, cinnamon sticks, and nutmeg until it simmers for about an hour.
Then, remove from heat, cool down to room temperature, and strain into a mason jar.
After, top off the rest with Everclear and refrigerate for a few weeks.
