I have never thought of making a baked potato in an air fryer, until today. I found this video recipe tutorial for air fryer steakhouse baked potatoes by Amy Learns To Cook on YouTube, and I was so excited about this revolutionary idea. When you make a potato in the microwave, the potato will turn out fluffy on the inside but can be soft on the outside. Now what we love about steakhouse potatoes is the fact that they have a crispy crust on the outside and have a soft fluffy texture on the inside, and you can achieve that in an air fryer and your cooking time will be about the same as the microwave method.
